The Johnson County Strategic Plan 2026-2030 establishes a structured framework to guide Johnson County’s decisions in support of its long-term priorities. Covering a five-year horizon, the plan defines key focus areas, sets measurable objectives, and directs how resources will be aligned to achieve desired outcomes. It reflects a deliberate effort to connect the County’s service delivery and organizational capacity with the evolving needs of communities, residents, partner organizations and businesses.
The Board of Supervisors approved the current strategic plan on Thursday, August 27, 2026, following a robust 14-month internal review and community engagement process. Below are links to the final strategic plan, the Environmental Scan (a summary of the stakeholder engagement that informed the plan), and the project’s digital engagement platform, Social Pinpoint. Social Pinpoint is no longer active but remains available as a reference for the stakeholder engagement process used to develop the plan.
