Johnson County is beginning the process of developing a new Strategic Plan that will establish priorities to guide policies and budget decisions from 2026 through 2030. Following a robust RFP process in fall of 2025, the County chose the consulting firm BerryDunn to lead this effort.
The entire community plays an important role in developing a shared vision in partnership with the County. The community's active participation and valuable input in this process is vital as we work together to chart a course that ensures our County's success, resilience, and harmonious growth.
Our partners at BerryDunn will gather feedback from residents, elected officials, County leadership, county employees, and a broad array of community stakeholders in the coming months. The Board of Supervisors and County leadership will use the information collected to create a long-term vision for Johnson County and develop strategic priorities, goals, and objectives to define our direction.
