Due to the threat of inclement weather, the Johnson County Board of Supervisors budget meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Jan. 9, 2024, has been canceled. The meeting will not be rescheduled. Instead, discussions that were scheduled to take place on Tuesday, Jan.
Most Johnson County governmental offices will be closed on Monday, Jan. 15, 2024, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
Detailed schedule changes and other office closures include:
Ambulance: Johnson County Ambulance Service (JCAS) will be available for routine and emergency response. The JCAS billing and administrative offices will be closed. Emergency services remain available 365 days a year. In an emergency, residents should always dial 911.

The Johnson County Board of Supervisors held its organizational meeting for 2024, today, Tuesday, Jan. 2, 2024, and appointed Rod Sullivan as Chairperson for 2024. Jon Green was appointed Vice Chairperson.
