The Johnson County Board of Supervisors recently approved a request to update eligibility requirements and increase the incentive amount for the Child Care Assistance Incentive Program. The program now serves children up to the age of 47 months and offers reimbursement of up to $300 per month for each eligible child participating in the Iowa Child Care Assistance (CCA) program.

The Johnson County Board of Supervisors held its organizational meeting for 2025, today, Thursday, Jan. 2. The Board began the meeting by appointing Jon Green as Chairperson for 2025. V Fixmer-Oraiz was appointed as Vice Chairperson.
“I'm grateful to my colleagues for their confidence in serving as our chairperson in 2025, which I expect to be a dynamic and challenging year at times. Fortunately, we have a good team to meet challenges and take opportunities," said Green.
