Thanksgiving 2023 holiday hours
Most Johnson County governmental offices will be closed Thursday, Nov. 23, and Friday, Nov. 24, 2022, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
Detailed schedule changes and other office closures include:
Ambulance: Johnson County Ambulance Service (JCAS) will be available for routine and emergency response. The JCAS billing and administrative offices will be closed. Emergency services remain available 365 days a year. In an emergency residents should always dial 911.

Johnson County Social Services accepting applications for the Infant and Toddler Scholarship Program
Johnson County Social Services is accepting applications for infant and toddler scholarships. Applications are available at https://forms.gle/zq55PEiE377eHwSQ9 and will be considered on a first-received, first-considered basis. The Infant and Toddler Scholarship Program can assist parents in paying for a quality early education for their children while they work. This program is a result of Johnson County’s investment of funds received from the federal government through the American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA).
