The Veterans Memorial at Johnson County announces the addition of three new pieces of granite, replacing 159 inscriptions that were damaged during the derecho in August of 2020.
The Johnson County Board of Supervisors is accepting applications for Fiscal Year 2025 Economic Development and Quality of Life Grants from March 18 through April 22, 2024.
Each year through the budgeting process, the Board of Supervisors allocates funds to promote economic development in Johnson County and enhance the quality of life for its residents. For Fiscal Year 2024 (July 1, 2024−June 30, 2025), the Board allocated $300,000 total for both grant opportunities.

Johnson County is accepting applications for the third Community Food and Farm Grant cycle beginning on Friday, Mar. 15, 2024. Applications will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on Friday, Apr. 12, 2024.
