The Johnson County Auditor & Elections Office is excited to announce the return of the I Voted’ Sticker Contest. The contest is free and open to all County residents and college students. The contest has two divisions: Youth (17 years old and younger) and Adult (18 years and older).
The winning designs will become the official stickers distributed during early voting and on Election Day in 2026 and 2027.

The Johnson County Empowerment/Early Childhood Iowa Area Board will hold a public budget forum from 6 to 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 16, 2026, at the North Ridge Pavilion, 2250 Holiday Rd, Coralville.
The budget forum is an opportunity for community members to learn more about how Early Childhood Iowa funds are used to assist Johnson County children ages 0-5 and their families and to provide input into future budget planning.

The Johnson County Board of Supervisors has issued this Request for Proposal (RFP) to identify a qualified consultant to develop Johnson County’s initial Language Access Plan (LAP) within an six-month timeframe. The County seeks a contractor with demonstrated experience in conducting language access assessments, developing language access plans, and working within local government systems.
The Johnson County Board of Supervisors will hold a public hearing on the Fiscal Year 2027 proposed county budget and General Obligation Loan Agreements (GOLA) at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, April 15, 2026, in the Boardroom, Room 301 in the Johnson County Health & Human Services Building, 855 S Dubuque St, Iowa City.
During the public hearing, any resident or taxpayer may present objections to or arguments in favor of the proposed budget.
