The Board of Supervisors and Conservation Board signed an agreement to invest $200,000 towards the water quality sensor network operated by IIHR—Hydroscience and Engineering (IIHR) at the University of Iowa.
Johnson County is hosting a free breakfast for bicycle commuters and recreational riders from 7 to 9 a.m. on Tuesday, May 12, at the patio just south of the Johnson County Administration Building, 913 S. Dubuque St. in Iowa City.
The breakfast will include locally made empanadas, coffee, juice and fruit. Free trail maps, bike tip sheets and bike pins will also be available.
The rain location is the lower level of the nearby Health and Human Services (HHS) Building parking ramp at 855 S. Dubuque St.
