The Johnson County Board of Supervisors addressed a number of organizational issues for 2023 in its first formal meeting of the year today, Tuesday, Jan. 3, 2023. The Board began by appointing Lisa Green-Douglass as Chairperson for 2023. Rod Sullivan was appointed Vice Chairperson.

Due to impending weather conditions, and the National Weather Services’ blizzard warning that includes the Johnson County area, the Johnson County Courthouse will be closed beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022.
Due to impending weather conditions, and the National Weather Services’ blizzard warning that includes the Johnson County area, the Johnson County Courthouse will be closed beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022.
Due to impending weather conditions, and the National Weather Services’ blizzard warning that includes the Johnson County area, Johnson County governmental buildings will be closed beginning at noon on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022. As of now, the Johnson County Courthouse will remain open.
Most Johnson County governmental departments and offices will also be closed Friday, Dec. 23 and Monday, Dec. 26, 2022, in observance of the Christmas holiday.
