Early Voting
 
  • Tuesday, August 30: First day Auditor's Office can accept absentee ballot request forms for mailed absentee ballots. 
  • Thursday, September 22 (5:00 pm): Deadline for Auditor's Office to receive citizen petitions requesting a satellite absentee voting station. Petitions require 100 signatures of eligible electors. Contact our office for more information about this new process.
  • Wednesday, October 19: First day absentee ballots can be mailed and first day in-person early voting is allowed by state law. A complete early voting schedule will be available closer to the election.
  • Monday, October 24 (5:00 pm): Voter pre-registration deadline and deadline to request mailed ballot. In-person early voting and Election Day Registration are still available after this deadline.
  • Saturday, November 5: Auditor's Office open for early voting (hours to be determined).
  • Monday, November 7: Last day for in-person early voting at Auditor's Office.
  • Tuesday, November 8: All domestic mailed absentee ballots must arrive at Auditor's Office before the polls close at 8:00 pm in order to be counted.
Polling Places
Polls are open 7:00 am – 8:00 pm on Tuesday, November 8.

Vote at new regular polling places. Due to the reprecincting process, your precinct and polling place may have changed.

Partisan Offices

Candidates for partisan offices who are not from the two full-status political parties (Democratic or Republican) may file for the General Election during the dates below. Democrats and Republicans may file for the June 7 Primary Election during the same period.

Federal and state offices: February 28 through March 18, file with Secretary of State.

Partisan county offices (Supervisor, Attorney, Recorder, Treasurer): March 7 through March 25, file with Auditor's Office.

Non-Partisan Offices

Township office (Clerk and Trustee): March 7 through March 25, file with Auditor's Office.

Non-partisan county office (Agricultural Extension Council, Soil and Water Conservation Commission): Deadline August 31, file with Auditor's Office.
