Johnson County is developing a new strategic plan to guide County priorities, policies, and budget decisions for the next three to five years and is seeking community input. The strategic plan will serve as a roadmap for setting priorities, measuring progress, and adapting to new opportunities and challenges as they arise.
Public input, transparency, and accountability are central to the county’s planning efforts. The Board of Supervisors and County leadership invite residents, businesses, and community organizations to provide feedback by attending the following in-person community forums:
- Tuesday, Feb. 17, 2026, 5:30 p.m., Solon High School, Expansion Commons, 600 West Fifth St., Solon
- Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, noon, Hills Community Center, 110 Main St., Hills
- Wednesday, Feb. 18, 2026, 5 p.m., Coralville Public Library, E. Jean Schwab Auditorium, 1401 5th St., Coralville
Residents can also provide input through the project’s digital platform site, Social Pinpoint at https://engageberrydunn.mysocialpinpoint.com/johnson-county-strategic-plan. Feedback will be used to develop a long-term vision for Johnson County, along with strategic priorities, goals and objectives.
