American Academy of Forensic Sciences: The American Academy of Forensic Sciences is a multi-disciplinary professional organization that provides leadership to advance science and its application to the legal system.

US Consumer Product Safety Commission: The CPSC is charged with protecting the public from unreasonable risks of injury or death from thousands of types of consumer products under the agency's jurisdiction. The JCME reports all deaths related to the use of consumer products to the Medical Examiners and Coroners Alert Project (MECAP).
