How do I get my WIC foods?
- Your family’s WIC foods will be loaded onto a debit card at the beginning of each month.
- Foods will be listed in quantities (e.g. 4 gallons of milk; 1 dozen eggs, 32 oz of yogurt) except for fruits and vegetables which allow up to a certain dollar amount (e.g. $11.00).
- You will get your foods at local grocery stores.
- You can use your WIC card throughout the month at the store.
- There is a WIC Shopper App that will tell you how many WIC foods are left on your card. You will also see that on the receipt you get at the grocery store.
- Be sure to get all the foods each month because no leftover foods will be carried over to the next month.
