Heritage Area Agency on Aging helps older adults, family caregivers and adults with disabilities live with dignity and independence in the home they choose. From quick help and information services to long-term, in-depth support, Heritage programs are designed to empower consumers at any stage in the aging process.

Services include: information services, case management, nutrition programs, caregiver support and education, elder abuse prevention and intervention, evidence-based health programs and more.

SMP is a service of the State of Iowa Insurance Division SHIIP program. SMP's mission is to empower and assist Medicare beneficiaries, their families, and caregivers to prevent, detect and report Medicare and health care fraud, errors, and abuse through outreach, counseling and education.
