The Iowa City Farmers Market is managed by the Iowa City Parks and Recreation Department. It is an open-air market held in the Chauncey Swan parking ramp, Chauncey Swan Park, and on E. Washington St. in downtown Iowa City. The market runs from May through October. We strive to serve culturally and economically diverse populations by providing access to fresh, locally produced products.

What to Know before You Visit

Pets - Please don't bring your furry friends. Animals are not allowed inside the ramp during the market.

The Solon Farmer's Market is located in Uptown Park on the corner of Main St and Market St. Vendors will be set up on the south side parking lot.

Support local vendors at the 2022 University Heights Farmers Market.

Swisher Farmers Market is an open air market held every Thursday 4:30-6:30 June -October in the Swisher city park next to City Hall.  Live music! Fresh local produce is available in season. Baked goods, crafts, eggs, honey, etc. SFM does not charge a fee for vendors to set up and there is no obligation however our vendor agreement must be signed before participation.
