Polls open 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. in Iowa City, Clear Creek Amana, Lone Tree, and Solon districts.  Johnson County conducted the elections for these four districts.

Some Johnson County voters are in school districts primarily located in another county.  The 2006 hours for these districts were:

  • College, Lisbon, Mt. Vernon: 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.
  • Highland, Mid-Prairie, West Branch, West Liberty, Williamsburg: noon to 8 p.m.

Early Voting Statistics - through Wednesday, September 13.

Early voting was available by mail and at the Johnson County Auditor's Office, 913 S. Dubuque St., Iowa City, weekdays from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.  (Closed Monday, September 4 for Labor Day.)
