Shall the following public measure be adopted? 

The Lisbon-Mt. Vernon Area EMS District has been created to fund emergency medical services within the District, to be provided by Lisbon-Mt. Vernon Ambulance, and in order to pay the costs of this service it is necessary to levy an initial tax of $0.667 cents per $1,000 (One Thousand Dollars) with a maximum levy of $1.00 dollars per $1,000 (One Thousand Dollars) of assessed value on all the taxable property (not including agricultural land or centrally assessed property) within the district. If you approve the levy of this tax, vote yes and if you disapprove of this tax, vote no. 

Write in up to three (3) candidates to serve as trustee(s) for the Lisbon-Mt. Vernon Area EMS District.

Monday, August 17: Deadline to request mailed ballots. Forms must be in our office by 5 p.m. In person early voting will still be available after this date.

Monday, August 31: Last day for in person early voting at the Auditor's Office. 

Tuesday, September 1: Election Day. Polls open at the Johnson County Conservation Sutliff Shop from noon to 8 p.m.
