Dates and deadlines

• August 7: 5 PM deadline for candidates to file. File at Auditor's Office. 10 signatures required.
• August 10: Noon (12 PM) deadline for petition objections, 5 PM withdrawal deadline.
  • Ballots will be available as soon as possible after this date.
• August 21: Pre-registration deadline and deadline to request mailed absentee ballot, 5 PM for both.
  • Voters may still register after this date using the Election Day Registration procedure.
  • In-person early voting will still be available at the Auditor's Office after this date.
• August 31: Last day for in-person early voting, 7:45 AM to 5:30 PM. Postmark deadline to return absentee ballots by mail.
• September 1: Polls open 7 AM to 8 PM.
