The Johnson County Board of Supervisors is seeking volunteers to serve on various County boards and commissions. Board and commission members serve in an advisory role to help direct policy by making suggestions and recommendations to the Board of Supervisors and County staff.

The first half of Johnson County property taxes were due on Wednesday, Sept. 1, 2021. Payments must be delivered to the Treasurer’s Office or postmarked by Thursday, Sept. 30, 2021, to avoid a 1 ½ percent monthly penalty that will begin on Friday, Oct. 1, 2021. The Treasurer’s Office is located on the first floor of the Johnson County Administration Building, 913 S. Dubuque St. in Iowa City. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:45 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
