The Board of Supervisors will discuss action steps from the Johnson County Housing Assessment study during a special work session at 5:30 p.m. on Monday, May 18.  

During the meeting, the Planning, Development and Sustainability Department will present on the potential for the county partnering with small cities to expand, retain and revitalize their supply of attainable housing. The meeting will also include a status update on other recommended action steps from the Johnson County Housing Assessment Study. The attainable housing initiative aligns with the 2024 update to the Johnson County Comprehensive Plan.  

Board of Supervisors meetings are open to the public and are held in the Boardroom, Room 301 of the Johnson County Health and Human Services Building, 855 S Dubuque St, Iowa City.
