Illinois Man Found Guilty of Six Counts of Sexual Abuse of a Child
April 9, 2026 (JOHNSON COUNTY, IA) – Today Jimmy Woah Raye, Sr., age 62, of North Aurora, Illinois, was found guilty of six counts of Sexual Abuse in the 2nd Degree, a Class B Felony, after a trial by jury that began on April 7, 2026. The jury deliberated for approximately an hour. The charges come from incidents where Raye sexually abused three different children under the age of 12 between 2013 and 2020.
A No Contact Order was issued for each of the victims, effective until further order of the court.
Raye faces up to 25 years for each count of the Class B Felonies. Sentencing is set for July 10, 2026 at 2:00pm.
