Johnson County Deputy Involved in Motor Vehicle Collision with Semi

July 9, 2025 (JOHNSON COUNTY, IA) – On July 8, 2025, at 10:17am, a Johnson County Deputy was involved in a motor vehicle collision in the 1800 block of Highway 965NW near North Liberty. The Deputy’s patrol vehicle was struck in the rear driver-side quarter by a semi. The Deputy was transported to a hospital to be treated for minor injuries and was later released.  

The incident is currently under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol. No further information is available for release at this time.
