Weather permitting, construction on X14/Wapsi Ave SE between Highway 22 and 520^th Street will begin on Tuesday, June 2. 

The road will generally remain open to traffic during construction. However, motorists should expect delays due to daytime lane closures. Traffic will be reduced to one lane during working hours and controlled by flaggers and pilot cars. Both lanes will be open to traffic at night except for unusual circumstances.

Construction is anticipated to be completed by early August 2026. 

LL Pelling Co. of North Liberty is the project’s prime contractor.
