Illinois Man Found Guilty of Six Counts of Sexual Abuse of a Child
April 9, 2026 (JOHNSON COUNTY, IA) – Today Jimmy Woah Raye, Sr., age 62, of North Aurora, Illinois, was found guilty of six counts of Sexual Abuse in the 2nd Degree, a Class B Felony, after a trial by jury that began on April 7, 2026. The jury deliberated for approximately an hour. The charges come from incidents where Raye sexually abused 3 different children under the age of 12 between 2013-2020.
A No Contact Order was issued for each of the victims, effective until further order of the court.
Raye faces up to 25 years for each count of the Class B Felonies. Sentencing is set for July 10, 2026 at 2:00pm.
