The Johnson County Attorney's Office would like to congratulate Assistant County Attorney Haley Huddleston on being appointed by the Iowa Supreme Court to the Language Access in the Courts Advisory Committee for the Iowa Courts. 

This advisory committee provides guidance to the court and state court administrator regarding language access policies in the courts and assists the Iowa Judicial Branch Language Access Services Office in administering the court interpreter and disciplinary systems for court interpreters. 

The committee will submit annual reports to the state court administrator with language access data and trends, as well as any recommendations that the committee deems appropriate. The work of this committee will ensure that language access and interpreter services remain relevant to Iowa Courts system users through insights and recommendations based on data and identifiable trends over time.
