May is Older Americans Month and this year’s theme, “Champion Your Health,” focuses on prevention, wellness, and personal responsibility as cornerstones of healthy aging.
“Older Americans Month is an opportunity to celebrate aging while also investing in the health and well-being of our community,” said Jeff Kellbach, Aging Specialist. “We’re proud to offer events throughout the month that encourage connection, lifelong learning, wellness, and fun.”
People 65 and older are the fastest-growing demographic in Johnson County. In celebration of Older Americans Month, Johnson County Livable Community (JCLC) will host a series of events throughout May.
