Description Of Organization And Services

Disaster PrepWise is a FREE program run through the University of Iowa College of Public Health that is devoted to helping older adults prepare for disaster. Our trained program staff will meet with you and help you build a personalized disaster plan for your household using our website.

We also have Disaster PrepWise for Caregivers for those who are currently caring for someone with Alzheimer's or dementia.

Disaster PrepWise also presents in the community! If you're interested in having one of our staff come and present about disaster preparation or play fun preparation-themed games, please reach out! No matter how large or small the group, we love to spread the word about preparation.
