Larry Lee Starr was born May 27, 1948. He was drafted in to the United States Army in 1967 and was inducted May 21, 1948. While fighting in the Vietnam War, he was exposed to Agent Orange. He was discharged honorably February 22, 1970. Larry was married to Deb Anderson on August 15, 1981. He was the father to Amber Leigh Starr born December 30, 1983. Larry became a Grandfather to Avery Starr on October 27, 2018.

Larry fought cancer-Prostrate, Liver, Lung, & Pelvic Sarcoma for three years. He also developed Chronic Idiopathic polyneuropathy disease and lost the use of his legs and hands; all from his exposure to Agent Orange while serving his country. Larry was healthy and & golfed 18-36 holes several times a week until he became sick in 2015. His biggest wish was to see his Granddaughters birth; he was able to celebrate her 1st birthday.

Larry did not deserve what happened to him. He was a wonderful husband, father, friend, and grandfather. Larry earned the National Defense Service Medal, Vietnam Service Medal, Vietnam Campaign Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and the Good Conduct Medal.
