Private First Class (PFC) Irving “Rocky” Delos Rockafellow served in the United States Army Honorably from August 14, 1944 to February 20, 1946. He served with the 385th Infantry Regiment, 76th Infantry Division.

Rocky was qualified as a Marksman on the Rifle M-1 and in Combat Infantry. He served in the Rhineland Campaign.

Medals earned. Purple Heart, European-African-Middle Eastern Campaign ribbon, World War II Victory Medal, and the American Theater ribbon.

He was presented a “We Honor Veterans” certificate from Iowa City Hospice July, 2019.
