I was born April 23, 1945 on a Navy Submarine base in Groton, CT, where my father served during WWII. While attending Penn College in Oskaloosa, IA in 1965, I fought the flood in Muscatine, IA, and the city made me an honorary citizen. In South Vietnam, I served with the 82nd Airborne Division on a 5-man ambush team during 1968 and 1969. Our team completed 87 ambush operations during our tour. After the war I married my wife Connie and earned my college BS Degree in Marketing from Florida State University. I had a long and successful career with AT&T. I was the top sales person for the entire company in 1991. After retirement from AT&T, Connie and I bought a bed and breakfast inn in West Palm Beach, FL. We now live in a retirement community in Palm Desert, CA.

Medals earned: Bronze Star, Army Commendation Medal, National Defense Service Ribbon, Vietnam Service Ribbon, Vietnam Campaign Ribbon and The Combat Infantryman Badge. In addition, I earned the 3rd Brigade 82nd Airborne Division Vietnam Combat Certificate.
