Service for residents of Johnson County that are seniors and people with disabilities who may otherwise find it difficult to conduct daily transactions or unable to ride the fixed route.
SEATS Rural Service
Connects riders living rural communities to more urbanized areas within Johnson County
Eligibility is determined when you share your rural address with scheduler. Reserve ride 24 hours in advance and no more than two weeks by calling (319) 339-6125 which is answered 7am-12pm and 1-4pm Monday – Friday and on Saturday from 8am-12pm. Riders are encouraged to reserve the trips closer to 2 weeks out to ensure space. Rides can be denied due to capacity. Fare is $2 for a one way trip.
