Don’t pay a fee to get your refund! The IRS Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program can offer free tax help to people who need assistance in preparing their tax return. Help is available to the following individuals ~
- People who generally make $60,000 or less;
- Persons with disabilities; and
- Limited English-speaking taxpayers
IRS-certified volunteers provide free income tax return preparation with e-filing for qualified individuals.
VITA Tax Clinics will run from February 7 through April 11, 2023. In-person tax preparation assistance clinics will be available by appointment only at the Old Capitol Town Center on Tuesdays evenings and all day Saturday.
