Johnson County Solar Arrays

Solar Unit

This webpage provides information on solar arrays that generate electricity for Johnson County government facilities. If you are considering a solar array project in the county's unincorporated area, please visit the Building Services site for the Solar PV System guidelines and checklist.

Johnson County is proud to be the first county in Iowa to have entered into Power Purchase Agreements for solar photovoltaic (PV) arrays.
