Maternal Health Program
The Maternal Health Program is an education-based program for pregnant women at any point during their pregnancy. We offer enhanced services of:
- Prenatal risk assessment
- Screenings provided by a registered nurse, registered dental hygienist, and registered dietician
- Education in the areas of health, labor/delivery, breastfeeding, infant care, dental, psychosocial needs, and nutrition
- Referrals to medical providers, dentists, prenantal/breastfeeding classes, WIC and other community services
- Assistance in applying for Medicaid (Title 19)
- Opportunity for a postpartum home visit
