Board of Supervisors

The Johnson County Board of Supervisors is seeking proposals for a new initiative aimed at identifying and supporting local businesses that have been impacted and disproportionately affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Central to this program is the commitment to equity, ensuring that small local businesses, particularly those hardest hit by the pandemic, receive the support necessary to navigate and overcome their current challenges. Organizations interested in submitting proposals should demonstrate a capability to orchestrate a program that not only identifies businesses in need but also delivers critical financial assistance through technical support and grants.

A pre-bid meeting is set for 2 p.m. on Friday, April 12, for interested parties to attend in-person or virtually as they learn about detailed insights, objectives, application procedures, and expectations of the program.

More details can be found at https://johnsoncountyiowa.gov/bids-and-proposals, and proposals are due on April 25, 2024.
